Who am I? ⁉️

Basically ... I'm a nerd lol ... I have had many roles in my life and felt called to use the skills I've gained to help others manage this digital age! 🖥📱🎮

I began typing as a young child. With computers being new at the time, I quickly adapted to this new technology. I began to help create tests and quiz document files for my father's professional college classes. He was a slow Typer, and I am a fast Typer. As my dad's businesses needed more advanced typing, I happily fulfilled the job and have been perfecting beautifully crafted documents ever since! I have been a transcriber, translator, typist, technical writer, ghostwriter, proofreader, and more for Legal, Educational, and Real Estate fields I have gained 10+ years of experience. I have written poetry as well. I even typed with typewriters and old-timey dictators I've been doing this so long! ⚖️🏫🏘

I am also a lover of numbers, science, and languages! I am fluent in English and Spanish, having been exposed to both languages from birth. 🧮❣

What is copy typing? 📃🗞

"Copy typing" entails transferring text from a source, or several, that cannot be scanned properly into a readable and editable document, commonly word, for multiple applications as per client request.

Examples: handwritten notes, documents with handwritten notes or corrections that cannot be recognized with digital scanners, converting traditional books into digital documents, anything that has been previously written that requires being type copied into a digital document.

My business is more than just a job. Each time I take on a new project, I make sure it aligns with my core set of values so I know I can deliver great results! Many of my projects have entailed copy typing academic class outlines for professors with visuals to match, legal documents for court fillings, Real Estate/Mortgage documents, PR copy and marketing materials. The client sends their works: handwritten, photographed and/or preprinted from multiple sources (or a combination) and I will compile them into beautifully crafted documents of the client's choice.

What is transcription? 🔊📼

"Transcription" entails transcribing speech into typed works. This could be from one or multiple audio and/or video sources. The transcriber may edit to make the speech to text more concise and understandable or type verbatim per the client's needs.

Examples: legal documents, medical documents, call logs, meetings, captioning, lecture notes, anything that needs to be converted from speech to text into an editable and readable document.

My passion in transcription has always been in Law. I was a legal transcriptionist who handled criminal warrants and summons that contained sensitive information. For me, transcription and copy typing went hand in hand. I transcribed audio files from Judges, lawyers, plaintiffs, defendants and witnesses into the proper legal formats for multiple uses. I absolutely enjoyed legal transcription and it’s easy to do great work when you believe in what you do. That’s why I'm committed to helping more people like you, every day!

What is technical writing? 📑

"Technical writing" entails a writing style that involves anything needing technical explanation. This can also involve writing about tech. The writer will research and complie a document as well as other materials as needed per the client's requirements.

Examples: user manuals, scientific papers, technical reports, research conclusions, legal reports and procedures, educational schedules and outlines, financial reports, anything that requires carefully researched and technically written in a way others can understand.

I have always loved writing! As young as elementary school, I had written stories that my teachers would then enter in contests. I will always remember my first winning story, "Jadi Jumper". Later, I became fond of writing essays and research papers, and I have been writing them ever since! I have written about various topics in my studies from early childhood education to mortgage risk analysis. My work is my purpose, my driving force. Most importantly, it keeps pushing me to achieve bigger and better things with each new challenge!

Who are ghostwriters? 👻✍️

These are writers who are hired to write works for or in collaboration with another person or persons. The credit is given to the author alone with the writer being a "ghost" with no credit given. There are many reasons someone or a company would hire a ghostwriter. Sometimes you have an amazing idea and would like to write it down but don't know how or where to start? This is where a ghostwriter can be a valuable tool to aid in your end writing goals. This could be a manuscript, book, article, speech, song lyrics, educational materials and/or social media content. Ghostwriters are there, researching and writing silently in the background. 😉

So, why writing❔️

Ghostwriting, technical writing and writing poetry have been my most favorite of the different writing roles I have had. I have taken breaks throughout my writing to raise my children and as they've grown, I realized that I will always be writing... I enjoy it, it's fun and therapeutic, and you can create anything with words! 🔡
